RINK BOOKING GUIDANCE NOTES :
Rink booking is on a “first come, first served” basis. However, it is expected all members will be sensitive to the needs of those representing the Club in external competitions and give priority to these players when asked to do so.
The booking priority is as follows:
1. All Club team competitions, including Friendlies and League/Cup games
2. Club Night (max 3 rinks)
3. Bowls England and Gloucestershire Competitions
4. Bristol City & County Competitions
5. Bristol North East Competitions
6. Club Internal Competitions
7. Practice and Friendly Roll Ups
a) Bookings should be made through the Club Secretary (redlandgreenbowls@gmail.com),
Web Administrator or appropriate Club Officer to be logged in the Club Diary, published on the website. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to check the booking has been made correctly in the Club Diary.
b) All bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance.
c) In the event of a disagreement between parties, the relevant Competition Secretary or Fixtures Secretary, as appropriate, shall be the arbiter as to priority and will take the sequence of entries in the Club Diary into account when coming to a decision.
d) Where external competitions are on a “play on date” basis, these matches will take priority over other external competitions on the relevant date, providing the priority claim is made at least 48 hours before the booking time and date.
