Only 28 degrees at 6 p.m , but by 7p.m. it was a pleasant temperature.
Wendy with Gill, Barry and Phil traded single shots , 7-3 at the 10th the end, staying ahead and picking up a 5 on the 15th end, finishing 16-13 .
Ian with Mike R, David and Mike W took the lead on the 10th end and didn’t let go, a 5 on the 11th end confirmed it and they finished 21-13.
Rick with Dave S, Alan and Marek dominated the game for the first half but the Royals kept plugging away catching up on the 11th end . Dropping a 5 on the last end didn’t help, finishing 12-22. Just managing to pick up 4 points for the overall win (by one shot)
We are now 4th on the table same points as Yate but their shot difference is better, next week we play Avonvale Blues at Avonvale in the league . We are also playing NE Knock out on Monday at Bradley Stoke.
