Half way mark for this season. Taking all the points of their “A” team last week gave us confidence that we should be able to pick up some points this week.
On rink 3 Karen with Sue, Kath and Annie started calmly and confidently, 8-0 after 6 ends, RBL started to fightback but Redland were always in control, a solid confident team performance. Karen playing a very secure skips game, Annie and Kath nearly always up and behind the jack enabling Sue to play the conversion shots, final score 14-11
On rink 4 Wendy with Liz Carol and Colette began steadily, after 8 ends were 8-6 up, a steady team performance in the first half. Portishead chipped away to come back to 12-11 at the 12th Redland clinging on to make it 15-12 going into the final end. Portishead picked up a 4 on the last end and we lost 15-16.
6 points kept us in third spot, but with K&H in 4th place with the same number of points
