Here at Redland Green Bowling Club our aim is to provide a welcoming, social environment for members of all ages and experience to enjoy a game of bowls whether in competitive or friendly matches.

Entrances

There are two entrances to the Club – both in Redland Green Road

1] There is a shared vehicle / pedestrian access opposite the corner of the churchyard and adjacent to the entrance to Redland Tennis Club car park. It goes towards the playground and Redland Green Farm and allotments. Please drive slowly. The first set of gates on the right [about 50 metres from the road] is the entrance to our car park and Club House.

2] There is pedestrian access through a gate on the bottom corner of the Green , opposite no 8 Redland Green Road.

Parking

  • We have a small car park, available on a ‘first come’ basis.

We are in the Redland Residents Parking Zone which is in operation Mon- Fri between 09.00 & 17.00 (please see ‘On-Street Parking Information’ below).

If, however you are coming to the Club for a weekend or bank holiday game you can use any of the on-street parking bays without charge. This is also true for any weekday evening fixture, provided you arrive after 17.00hrs.

  • Redland Green Bowls Club is located within the Redland Residents Parking Zone
  • The charging hours are ONLY: Monday to Friday between 09.00 hrs and 17.00hrs [9am to 5 pm]
  • 30 minutes FREE parking is always available during these times with a FREE ticket from the ticket machines – so in the evenings you can park from 4.30 pm with a free ticket.
  • DO NOT PARK IN BAYS SIGNED ‘PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY‘ DURING THE CHARGING HOURS 
  • ONLY PARK IN THE BAYS WHERE SIGN SAYS ‘PURCHASE A TICKET FROM MACHINE‘ DURING THE CHARGING HOURS 
  • Parking costs £1.50 per hour. Max 4 hour stay – Price correct as at April 2023
